- You provide a reliable and continuous stream of data to other applications
- You make sure annotations are efficiently applied and you implement additional annotators
- You directly work with downstream engineering teams and business teams to jointly refine the requirements and focus on the right priorities
- We all strive to keep up to date with new technologies and methodologies and streamline their adoption by the team

Requirements
Must haves:
- University degree, ideally with a specialization in computer science / business informatics and at least 3 years of professional experience as a software developer
- Sound knowledge of agile development methods, Clean Code principles, TDD, CI/CD
- Profound knowledge in JVM-based Language (Java, Kotlin, etc)
- Safe handling of large amounts of data, and knowledge of corresponding design patterns, data structures
- Experience with messaging / stream processing (Kafka, SQS, etc) and distributed systems
- Experience with relational and NoSQL-databases
- Experience with Python or Typescript or at least another statically typed language
- Proficiency in English
Nice to have:
- amiliarity with concepts such as containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in big data projects, advanced analytics (e.g., machine learning, artificial intelligence) and analytical programming languages
- Some form of reference work, e.g., on GitHub
